Although it's getting a bit chilly for many in the Viper 640 community, there are still a lot of Viper regattas to be raced in the warmer climes. Here are some of the upcoming events you should be putting on your calendar:
Turkey Day Regatta
November 21-22, 2015
Alamitos Bay Yacht Club, Long Beach, CA
Thirteen teams registered and there's still time to sign-up. A fall classic, the ABYC Turkey Day Regatta lets you visit sunny SoCal with Viper Gov Timbo Carter and the rest of the SoCal Viper fleet. Always fun racing Vipers in a multi-class regatta and the Turkey Day Regatta is no exception. In addition, and in the spirit of the season, Alamitos Bay Yacht Club is supporting the Children's Clinic of Long Beach.

The 2015 ASBA Queensland State Championship
s are all set to take place at Southport Yacht Club on December 5th and 6th. Organize the crew, chill the beers, and get involved!
Western Australia State Championship

The Vipers will hold their second State Championship at South of Perth Yacht Club. With a new fleet in Albany we have some new faces. If last year's inaugural championship was any indication, the racing should be tight and exciting. Look out for beers and oysters in the boat park afterwards.

The 2016 ASBA National Title regatta returns to RQYS at Manly, Brisbane in January 2016.
Dates are scheduled to best allow some travelling time to get there and home from anywhere in the country.
Now is the time to book some leave, book some accommodation (motel on site), and secure the leave pass.
Meanwhile, back in the U.S., here's what's coming up:
