Medicaid Expansion Resources Available
Last month, Virginia took a big step forward in ensuring access to affordable health care for all by expanding Medicaid eligibility. Under the expansion, 400,000 Virginians are newly-eligible for coverage, from single, childless adults with incomes up to $16,754 annually who were previously ineligible for Medicaid to families whose annual income limit for coverage grew from $6,900 to $22,715 for a family of two. As we move closer to the implementation date, there are lots of questions about enrollment, pending working requirements, and the impact of expansion.
While certain aspects of expansion are still being resolved, like the work requirement, you can get up-to-date expansion details now on the
Cover Virginia website.
Cover Virginia offers easy-to-share information, like

on Medicaid eligibility changes, for you to download, print, and share.
