Take the trip of a lifetime with gorilla expert Jodi Carrigan, senior zoo keeper at Zoo Atlanta. Jodi has worked with gorillas for 12 years and has visited mountain gorilla habitats in Rwanda four times.

The trip takes you first to Rwanda, where you will have the option of tracking gorillas in Virunga National Park for up to three days. Jodi and local guides will share their expertise to ensure you get the most out of each day's excursion.

This is truly a unique opportunity, as most group tours to this part of the world allow only one day for gorilla tracking! On this trip, you can choose to track on one, two, or three days. Alternate activities include tracking the beautiful and elusive endangered golden monkey or visiting Iby' Iwachu Cultural Village to learn about traditional Rwandan cultures and art.

After five days in Rwanda, you will travel to Tanzania for a safari through Ngorongoro Crater, which has the highest wildlife concentration in Africa. Lions, baboons, Cape buffalos, ostriches, and hippos are usually plentiful. If you're lucky, you may even spot a rare endangered rhinoceros!

You'll then proceed to the Serengeti, whose rugged, wide-open plains are quintessential Africa. At this time of year, 2 million wildebeest and zebras gather here to begin their annual trek northward, known as the Great Migration. You're also likely to spot cheetahs, leopards, elephants, giraffes, and a myriad of other creatures.

Accommodations are 4+ star and include lodges, cottages, and a luxury mobile tented camp (each tent has solar lighting, twin or king beds, toilet and shower).

Don't miss this incredible opportunity! Reserve your spot by August 1.

Please contact me with any questions. As always, I look forward to talking with you!
