Career Exploration and Vocational Education
Designed for Special Education teachers, job coaches, vocational staff and student support staff, this course will support participants looking to start or grow their vocational education programs. All levels of experience and expertise are welcome. 

The course will cover: 
- Career exploration resources for students 
- The importance of work "reflections" 
- Essential steps and skills to getting and keeping a job 
- NYSDOE's Career Development and Occupational Studies credential review

Capital Region History Day
The New York State Museum invites Capital Region educators and students to participate in the Capital Region History Day competition.  

Contestants become writers, filmmakers, playwrights, web designers and artists as they create unique, contemporary expressions of history. Participants have the opportunity to earn medals and advance to the State and National championships to win prizes and scholarships.
