11/21 West Asheville Park Workday
RiverLink has a conservation easement along the riparian zone of Rhododendron Creek within West Asheville Park. Join our Watershed Resources Coordinator Ingrid in maintaining this area by removing kudzu and multiflora rose. A healthy riparian zone- the transitional area between land and stream- prevents soil erosion, filters runoff, and controls flooding!

All tools will be provided. Please wear sturdy shoes and bring water.
We will meet in the parking lot at the entrance to West Asheville Park.

All necessary equipment will be provided. Please wear sturdy shoes, bring a water bottle, and dress for the weather.
This workday will be held at Givens Estates. Park in the upper Oxford Commons parking lot, adjacent to the flag pole.
