Volunteer Training for the  Boston Cyclists Union April 2012 Attention Party People! We need volunteers to help make our upcoming 501c3 fundraising party a huge success. Here are two fun and easy opportunities to help. 1. We've been plastering local businesses, schools and even individual bikes all over town with news of this exciting event. Can you help with an hour of  fliering in the next 10 days? 2. We're looking for a few solid folks to be our registration rockstars at the party. This will involve greeting people, signing them up as members, and raking in the cash. Could this be you? To get on our all star list for these opportunities, please email Noel Twigg.   Saturday, April 21, 11:30am-2:30pm Volunteer Orientation 12 Sedgwick Street  Jamaica Plain, MA 02130 (basement auditorium)   You're invited to join Union staff and veteran volunteers this Saturday as we roll up our sleeves and prepare for our biggest bike season yet! This orientation will include: - An overview of the Union's vision and current activities - A primer on building our membership - The inside scoop on Bike to Market and our new Bike to Work commuter encouragement program Lunch will be provided. Please bring a reusable water bottle and your favorite note-taking device(s). The event will be followed by an optional fix-a-flat workshop.
