It's the first week of the traditional (if unofficial) summer season, and another cray cray week for The Love Show!
Tonight, the dancers are back at W.I.P. Wednesdays! We provide both ambient and fully choreographed dance at this hot weekly multimedia nightlife extravaganza. Tonight will be extra special, because it's we'll be celebrating the birthday of nightlife impresario extraordinaire, Andrew Lockhardt! In keeping with the tropical weather we've been having, The Love Show Dancers will be performing a spicy samba number, and two of our favorite circus performers will also be wowing the stylish crowd!
On Thursday, Sex Magic at Hotel Chantelle marks the return of The Great Dubini, the continued vocal domination of chanteuse Andrea Andert, and both the birthday and bachelorette party of our own Agent Kitty!
On Saturday, The Love Show Dancers will be workin' it at two of Brooklyn's most important circus arts venues! At Big Sky Works, they'll be performing with the gothic opera onslaught that is Ondyne's Demise. Meanwhile, at House of Yes, they'll be representing as part of Bushwick Open Studios' official performance art showcase!

After three weeks in parts unknown doing deeds unmentionable, The Great Dubini is back where he belongs: at Hotel Chantelle, hosting Sex Magic!
Andrea Andert is now a permanent part of the show, so she'll be back belting out the classics!
Plus, our own Agent Kitty will be celebrating both her birthday AND her bachelorette party! I believe a spanking may be in order...
This sexy salvo from the Love Show coterie features elements of burlesque, magic and dance, with a magician displaying his masterly prestidigitation, Angela Harriell and The Love Show Dancers supplying the spice and weekly surprise guests providing, er, surprises.

Official Performance Art Showcase for
Bushwick Open Studios
For the most part, Performance Art gets a bad reputation. It is notorious for being abrasive, awkward, long, elitist and most of all... confusing. Even with pure intentions of questioning definitions and pushing boundaries, the audience is often left simply asking.... "What The F*ck?". Even as we honor the mavericks of Futurism and Fluxus, we have to remember... that was then, and this is NOW. As we know, the name itself refuses to be defined and can be anything and everything, but on June 2nd we are bringing you a collection of the best Performance Art in New York that is specifically designed to be provocative, innovative, fierce, fabulous, and most importantly... ENTERTAINING! Let us WOW you.
