Lithuania Business Mission
Feb. 28 - Mar. 1
The American-Lithuanian Business Council will lead its 5th Annual Business Mission to Vilnius.

The trip will be paired with the 2nd Annual American-Lithuanian Defense Forum hosted in partnership with the Lithuanian Ministry of Defense.
Participating companies will meet with:
  • Prime Minister Saulius Skvernelis
  • Foreign Minister Linas Linkevičius
  • Economy Minister Virginijus Sinkevičius
  • Parliamentary Leaders
  • U.S. Ambassador Anne Hall; and
  • Additional Ministerial leaders of their choice

Diplomatic Bowling Party
December 3
The Embassy Guild is closing out the year with a bowling party at Lucky Strike. Over 100 diplomats from 40 different embassies will network and test their skills on the lanes.

New Croatian Ambassador
December 13
The American-Central European Business Association has organized a roundtable discussion to meet the newly-arrived Ambassador Pjer Šimunović. Discussion will focus on the opportunities for trade and investment in Croatia in energy, defense, IT, medical technology and other sectors.

Turkmenistan Business Mission/Business Forum
December 13-14
Meetings with the Prime Minister, President, and top Ministers and individual company meetings with requested Ministers.

Defense Attaché Reception
January
The American-Central European Business Association will host a reception for members and Defense Attachés and Counselors from our 14 partner countries.

Lithuania's 100th Year Celebration
The American-Lithuanian Business Council will join the Embassy of Lithuania in celebrating the 100th Anniversary of the Restoration of the Lithuanian State.

2018 Business Missions
We have years of demonstrated success in leading business-to-government delegations in Central Europe. The trips enable participating companies to interface with top leaders in our partner countries.

Each mission follows a basic model:
  • Group meetings with the President, Prime Minister, Foreign Minister and Economy Minister
  • Individual company meetings with Ministers of their choosing
  • Engagement with the U.S. Ambassador and Embassy staff

Lithuania
Feb. 28 - Mar. 1

Poland
May
The US-Poland Business Council will lead its 7th mission to Warsaw in the spring. The trip will coincide with events celebrating Poland's 100 years of independence.
Czech Republic
The American-Central European Business Association will lead its first-ever mission to Prague. The trip will likely also be paired with the first ever US-Czech Defense Forum.

Romania
October
The American-Romanian Business Council will lead its 6th annual mission to Bucharest in the fall. The trip will take place on the margins of the 3 Seas Initiative Summit, an annual gathering of 12 Presidents from Central Europe.

Hungary
October 17-18
The US-Hungary Business Council will lead its 3rd annual mission to Budapest. The trip will follow spring parliamentary elections. Participants will have an early chance to meet the new Hungarian Government at the highest level.
