Senator Mitchell to Keynote WACA Conference
|
America and Global Megatrends
As of last Friday, when early-bird registration closed, we tallied nearly as many paid registrants as the total number of paid attendees at last year's Conference! And we still have two months to go to build an even stronger audience!!
Already, representatives from more than 45 Councils have registered. Special thanks to the Naples Council on World Affairs, WAC Western Massachusetts, and WorldBoston - all will receive one free admission each for drumming up 5 registrations or more. WAC Dallas/FW, Cleveland Council on World Affairs, World Affairs Forum (Stamford), and WAC Kentucky/Southern Indiana have 4 each signed up so far. Several Councils will be represented by at least 3 registrants. This is just the kind of turnout that makes for great networking, constructive best-practices sharing, and an attractive draw for the best speakers to our big event and your Councils. Please keep promoting the 2016 Conference!
New this year!
REGISTRATION REWARDS: For every five paid registrations from an individual Council community, WACA will provide free admission to a sixth individual designated by the Council CEO.

|
The Iran Project Program Series
|
In partnership with The Iran Project, we are pleased to continue the WACA Engage America Series on The Iran Nuclear Deal: Prospects for Cooperation, Competition and Confrontation. The program's objective is to deepen the understanding of implications of the U.S. policy towards Iran, the nuclear deal, and the Middle East. It is important to stimulate debate and air differences over U.S. dealings with Iran in Councils' nonpartisan forums. The centerpiece of the program is expert presentations and audience Q&A.
