Cover to Cover - New Year Preview 
January's Cover to Cover  will feature Thomas W. Lippman on his new book  Hero of the Crossing: How Anwar Sadat and the 1973 War Changed the World. Join us on Monday,  January 11, at 2:00-2:30 PM ET.

Lippman was a featured speaker at WACA's 2015 National Conference. He is an adjunct scholar at the Middle East Institute, specializing in Saudi Arabian affairs, U.S.- Saudi relations, and relations between the West and Islam. He is a former Middle East bureau chief for The Washington Post, and author of numerous articles and books. 

February's Cover to Cover will feature innovation expert Alec Ross on his new book The Industries of the FutureJoin us on Thursday, February 11, at 2:00-2:30 PM ET.

Ross served for four years as Senior Advisor for Innovation to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. He is currently a Distinguished Visiting Fellow at Johns Hopkins University and serves as an adviser to investors, corporations, and government leaders. 

Cover to Cover  in March will feature New York Times bestselling author Clyde Prestowitz  on his new book Japan Restored: How Japan Can Reinvent Itself and Why This Is Important for America and the World Date/Time  TBD

Prestowitz is founder and President of the Economic Strategy Institute. He has played key roles in achieving congressional passage of NAFTA and in shaping the final content of the Uruguay Round, as well as providing the intellectual basis for current U.S. trade policies toward Japan, China, and Korea. He is the author of many books including Trading Places (1988)which revolutionized the thinking about Japan's economic miracle and its relationship with the United States.

by the Turkish Cultural Foundation in collaboration with the World Affairs Councils of America runs a full calendar year and focuses on giving an overview of Turkey's rich culture. It consists of a spring Teacher Workshop, a Teacher Study Tour in the summer, and public cultural programs in the fall.  More Information

Job Announcement: Education Program Manager    
The Columbus Council on World Affairs seeks to hire an Education Program Manager to join a dynamic team in the mission of increasing global awareness in the Columbus Region. The Education Program Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the K-12 education program that embraces CCWA's mission in Central Ohio. In addition, he/she will lead all aspects CCWA's Global Scholars Diploma program including curriculum development, recruitment and training of adjunct facilitators, marketing to administrators and parents to increase school district participation as well as program quality control.
