Happy Summer!

 

The summer months are here and the Waterford Area will be bustling with a lot of great activities starting with River Rhythms tonight and St Thomas Aquinas' Country Fair this weekend.  Next month brings the Waterford Lions Club 4th of July Parade, Tichigan Lake Fireworks on the 4th as well as our 5th Annual Balloonfest July 17-19th followed up by the Full Moon Four Miler race on August 1st when there will actually be a full moon that night!  Check out our community calendar for details as well as our website.

 

I hope to see many of you at our chamber events this summer and don't forget to volunteer or donate - we need you to make our events successful!

5th Annual Balloonfest

 

Our 5th Annual Balloonfest is right around the corner, July 17th-19th! We would like to invite you to join us for this year's lighter-than-air festivities. Businesses interested in participating in Balloonfest should fill out the 2015 Balloonfest Business Vendor application and return it to the Chamber office by July 10th. Space is limited and will be assigned on a first-come first-serve basis.

 

Interested in helping to support our upcoming Balloonfest? We offer various sponsorship opportunities to fit any budget. View the sponsorship form for more information on our sponsorship levels.

 

Finally, we are looking for Arts & Crafts and Antique vendors to participate in Balloonfest. Please share these applications with anyone you know who may be interested in becoming a vendor.

 

We are always looking for volunteers to help ensure this event runs smoothly. Please fill out this application if you are interested in volunteering! 

 

 

Full Moon Four Miler Run/Walk

 

Registration is open for the Full Moon Four Miler and for the Half Moon Mini Miler. Click here to register for the Full Moon! Registration for the Half Moon Mini Miler is not available online, you must fill out this form and return it to the Chamber office. 


Ribbon Cutting

ProHealth Care will be hosting a ribbon cutting for their new Emergency Services department opening on July 6th at their Mukwonago location. Please stop by Saturday, June 27th at 9am to support our Chamber member! Guests are invited to stay from 9:30am-noon to enjoy tours, screenings, interactive displays, and a change to meet the new emergency care team.

Community State Bank
Community State Bank's award winning financial literacy program, known as MyLIFE, made its first appearance at Waterford Union High School on Thursday, May 21st. MyLIFE was developed by Community State Bank as a comprehensive interactive financial literacy program for high school students designed to demonstrate the importance of sound money management skills.


Childcare Options- Community State Bank's AVP-Ag Lender, Rachael Crane guides Waterford Senior, Caitlyn Eulgen through a variety of child care services. Community State Bank organized over 20 different stations for students to navigate during their MyLIFE program.

Help Desk- Commercial Lender, Nick Borth assists a Waterford Union High School student at the MyLIFE Help Desk.

Real Racine presents 'Day at the Beach' 


 

 

Are you and your friends ready for a little fun in the sun? Real Racine has just the thing for you.

 

Join the Real Racine team and EVP Volleyball for the EVP Tour "Day at the Beach" Challenge on Friday, June 19 from 2 to 5 p.m. at Racine's fabulous North Beach. This fun afternoon is open to co-ed teams of 4-5 people. Each team will compete in 10-minute round robin matches of beach volleyball, corn hole (baggo) and Ultimate Frisbee. The team with the best overall win record takes home a prize and bragging rights.   

 

Save the date, get your team together and prepare for fun! The cost is $20 per person (includes beer, soft drinks and snacks).
