Gregory K. Severino Memorial Fund

WCISA is mourning the loss of Hawaii arborist, Gregory K. Severino during a scuba diving accident just before Christmas 2016 2016. Greg was a major force in the arboriculture field in Hawaii, leading Aloha Arborist Association as president for 9 years and organizing the first Hawaii Tree Climbing Competition in many years in 2009, making it an annual event. While he had been battling cancer in late 2015/early 2016, it appeared he was beating it and was quickly regaining strength and weight after his cancer treatments. He was a scuba enthusiast and died in a beautiful location, doing what he loved. He leaves behind a 15-year old son, David. A fundraiser to help his son has been set up, To donate visit the   You Caring Site .

Aloha 'oe, Greg. You will always be in our hearts.
