Upcoming Revisions to ANSI A300 Industry Standards

As industry participants, we have the ability to review and comment on the changes to existing standards or proposed new standards. This is how the ANSI consensus standards process works.

Two very important ANSI A300 industry standards are being revised: Part 1 Pruning and Part 9 Tree Risk Assessment. The drafts are open for review and comment until October 3, 2016. If you have any questions, please contact Torrey Young or Rick Gessner, two WCISA members that serve on the committee as the ASCA rep and alternate, or Gordon Mann a WCISA member who serves on the committee as the SMA alternate, or you can contact any other ASCA A300 committee member you know to discuss your comments and ideas with. The committee members are listed in the front of the standards booklets.
