World Cancer Day - February 4th
The Erie St. Clair Regional Cancer Program and our CURES Team joined forces to host a Cancer Education Fair at both Windsor Regional Hospital campuses  for World Cancer Day. People were invited to test their cancer IQ, look through a microscope to guess the cancer, and learn about research projects going on in our region. Go to our Flickr site to see CURES in action.
Building a Cancer Smart Community
On January 23 we invited the Windsor Cancer Centre Foundation Board to an appreciation event to thank them for their contribution towards building a cancer smart community.  They were introduced to members of our CURES team, we shared personal stories of how their support of research has changed people's lives and ended with an interactive tour of a project initiated by a Seeds4Hope grant.Look for upcoming WCCF events to support in 2018!
