Reminder: Counseling Appointments Available

Free, confidential psychological counseling is available on the Philadelphia Campus on Thursdays from 11am - 6pm. To schedule, contact the WCU Counseling Center at (610) 436-2301 or wcucc@wcupa.edu and let them know you'd like to schedule an appointment with Dr. Kristin Shelesky on the Philadelphia Campus.
Assisted Listening Devices Available

All classrooms are now equipped with assisted listening technology. This technology brings power and clarity to a variety of sounds with solutions that overcome the challenges of noise, distance, clashing conversations, and hearing loss to deliver precise and personalized audio in any setting or environment. The Listen Tech Infrared series that is being used at the State System @ Center City is ideal for classrooms settings.
To take advantage of this technology please visit the front desk in the Academic & Classroom Suite . They will get you setup with the correct device to use in your classroom and ask you to fill out some information on a check out form.

Human Rights Speaker Series - February 8th

Dr. Megan Berthold from the University of Connecticut School of Social Work will be joining us to discuss her recent text, Human Rights-Based Approaches to Clinical Social Work.  
Senior Portraits - March 5th and 6th

Senior Portraits for students graduating in May/August will be held on the Philadelphia Campus on March 5th and 6th from 2:00-9:00pm. Go to www.ouryear.com and enter school code 887112 to schedule .
Student Request for Help

A current WCU Philly student has asked for our assistance in sharing the following information:

My mother in law is currently in a coma. We are having a fish fry to raise funds for her medical expenses. We are accepting donations and selling tickets for food n drink. We will also be having a silent auction and a DJ all for a great cause.
