WILMINGON, NC- Wilmington Downtown, Inc. (WDI) is proud to announce the recruitment of Inclinix, Inc to downtown Wilmington. Inclinix is a company specializing in customized Phase I-IV clinical trial enrollment solutions for global pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device organizations. Inclinix is headquartered in Wilmington, North Carolina and has relocated its offices from South College Road to Downtown Wilmington. The new location is 272 N. Front Street in the historic Efird Building owned by Self Help Credit Union. This building was designated a local landmark in 2008 by the Wilmington City Council.
"We're proud of the effort to recruit Inclinix," said WDI President & CEO, John Hinnant. "It was a real combination of resources between our board, the landlord and a downtown tenant." WDI began a targeted effort in 2010 to attract more scientific, technology and information jobs to downtown after observing the trends set by PPD in 2007. "Inclinix's decision is an affirmation that downtown is the place where business gets done. This type of industry is leading the way" Hinnant said.
Inclinix will occupy its new location beginning Monday, February 14th. The space is nearly 8,000 sq. ft. on two floors. Inclinix was represented by Matthew Cooke of Jones, Lang and Lasalle of Raleigh. About the move Cooke said, "Downtown Wilmington has a lot to offer and Inclinix is excited to move its headquarters there. We were able to find great space and appreciate everything the landlord did to accommodate us. I would also like to thank WDI for all of their assistance and hard work as they were integral to the process. As a Wilmington native, I'm glad to have played a part in the continued revitalization of downtown."
Inclinix Chairman and CEO J. Tobin Geatz added,"Inclinix is proud to be part of the downtown business community and we look forward to contributing to its continued evolution. We believe that businesses like ours will help attract other scientific and technology organizations, and that our global customers will enjoy the city's amenities and the close proximity to the airport. We are certain this will translate into more business and growth for Inclinix and our employees are eager to experience all that downtown has to offer."
