With its expansive sonic imagination and innovative productions, Sō Percussion has redefined the scope of the modern percussion ensemble. From Out a Darker Sea is inspired by the denizens of Seaham, England, a coastal town that has struggled to reinvent itself after the crushing loss of its mining industry. Integrating art, narrative, photography, film, and an original musical soundscape performed live, Sō Percussion captures the environment, personal stories, and aspirations of a community fighting against industrial decline and determined to forge a new identity.

Host Neil Hever talks with  Pat Taggart, director of the new documentary "Billboard Boys," which chronicles the contest of Allentown AM radio station WSAN in 1982.What started as a short-term publicity stunt to see who could live on a billboard over a busy highway the longest transformed into a nearly year-long international phenomenon. 
At the Movies : "American Made" stars Tom Cruise as Barry Seal, a TWA commercial airlines pilot, turned CIA reconnaissance pilot, turned cocaine-drugs-weapons and insurgents smuggler. The movie is based on a true story, according to the movie's opening credits. However, a web site for "American Made" states the movie is "Based on a True Lie." Whom to believe? Verifiable facts aside, "American Made" tells a fascinating story, is rip-roaring entertainment, and includes one of Tom Cruise's best-ever performances.
