Event Round-Up

Building on the relationship with the UN that was formed when Co-founder and CEO of WEConnect International Elizabeth A. Vazquez joined the UN Secretary General's High Level Panel on Women's Economic Empowerment, our team in Canada has also gotten involved with the international organization. Collaborating with the UN Global Compact Canada Network, an event in Toronto was recently organized bringing together global corporate leaders, in supplier diversity and ethical supply chains, with women business owners and their supporters.

A highlight of the evening was when Astrid Pregel, Executive Director of operations in Canada, presented to Helle Jorgenson, her counterpart at the UN Global Compact and CEO of B. Accountability, who will now be joining us at WEConnect International day at the WBENC conference in June.

See photos from the event and read the UN Global Compact's blog post.
