#Buy16in16
How Often Do You Actually Buy From Women?

Thought leadership strategist and certified woman business owner Mindy Gibbons-Klein recently wrote a blog post for Huffington Post UK on the everyday consumer's power to promote and support equality and diversity. Within the article, Mindy highlights WEConnect International's  #Buy16in16 campaign . She writes:

"WEConnect International's latest campaign #Buy16in16 is one of many ongoing efforts to champion women in business. In a nutshell - people are challenged to purchase 16 products or services from women-led companies in 2016, and spread the word about their buys. By exploring the female-led market and sharing their experiences, customers everywhere will get a refreshed insight of the realities and potential of women in business today."

Women-Owned Success Story
Buzz Export Services - Australia

Founded in 2012,  Buzz Export Services was conceived as a marketing firm with a focus on the travel industry. Their range of services caters to individual client needs, supplementing their innovative and creative solutions with diligent market research, strategic planning and trend analysis.

CEO Victoria Beneragama's drive to grow her business led her to obtain the first certification of WEConnect International in Australia in 2013. Believing that WEConnect International's extensive corporate network would give her firm access to new markets, namely the U.S. travel industry, she was introduced to the organization's local market lead Anne Tesch. As Victoria puts it, with Anne it felt "like a true partnership, with her championing [the] business, facilitating introductions within other regions to potential clients, contacts and supply partners."

Having made a connection with a representative at Delta Air Lines, Inc., the American airline company saw the value of Buzz Export Services' relationship with its Brand Partners on top of the quality of service that the business provides.
