Newsletter 77 ~ 30th May 2014
SORRY BUT IT IS ME AGAIN!!!!

The shoe auction is beginning to gather some momentum now but I would like to start with a brief apology as we are aware that some of you have been a little confused as to how to bid on the shoes.

Can I firstly say that all of this is happening quietly behind the scenes by Janet Middleton, who is giving so much of her time to raising funds for 'Hands up for Uganda'. This is all happening in her own time when she is also having to run a very busy shoe factory. So I want to thank her before saying any-more......THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH JANET.

Janet is obviously wanting to see her efforts bear results so please alert your creative network to this auction, by directing them either to our face-book page or to this newsletter.

You can place a bid on the face-book page or by emailing Janet directly. Payment is made via paypal through the 'Hands up for Uganda' website.

Dramatic relief surfaces in Fabric

STILL PLACES

Create dramatic and permanent relief shapes in fabric using 'Shibori' ~ the simple Japanese method of steam-setting. Fabrics are tied and stitched before steaming which afterwards reveals fabulous exciting results.

This will be a very productive course. Sian is a very experienced tutor who brings so much of her own skills and enthusiasm into the workroom. This course is suitable for all levels.
