Sunday, November 5, 2017 - communion, All Saints, and sermon series concluding!
JESUS: WHO IS THIS MAN?
Would you like to know more about Jesus Christ? Billions of people claim to follow him; whole libraries have been written about him; his life changed the course of human civilization. In this series, we have been looking at this man called Jesus from the perspective of the first book ever written about him, the gospel according to Mark. Our search will help us understand his ministry, his message, and reveal who this man really was.

New sermon series coming up! UNCERTAINTY, WISDOM, PEACE
The economy is an issue that is never far from our thoughts. In the past decade, America has experienced a financial roller coaster: languishing home prices, record setting markets, uncertainty overseas, low unemployment, consumer debt and low wages... All of these things have left us looking for answers. It is difficult to discern the good news from the bad and it is times like these that call for wisdom and courage in our personal lives. Join us for this two-week sermon series, as we turn to biblical principles for insight and seek sound financial practices that lead to financial peace.

A WORD FROM YOUR LEADERSHIP TEAM!
Your Wayne Church Leadership Team meets monthly to prayerfully establish and oversee the vision of our church. The team sets goals for our ministries and provides oversight for Trustees, Finance, and SPRC (Staff-Parish Relations Committee). Currently the team continues working on the implementation of our Team Ministry structure as we look forward to entering our second year under this new plan. For 2018, as part of this new plan, the leadership has taken on the task of studying church staffing models to determine how our staff may best support the work of the congregation within the Team Ministry structure. The team also hopes to learn more about our church’s vitality as we participate in a church life-cycle assessment in the final quarter of 2017. If you want to learn more about your church leadership or have any questions, do not hesitate to contact a member of your leadership team.
