The Cup of Freedom

Worship Series - September/October 2013
@ Wichita Falls MCC!

Tired of churches and church folk telling you what NOT to do and to be???  Well, join us in this path to learn what faith FREES us to do and to be!

This week...
Freedom to Love
The very best of who we are as people of faith is seen in how we love one another.  Our faith in Christ gives us the strength and freedom to love in ways that others may not understand. The world based in temporal reality begs us to hold fast to all that we love, but faith in Christ - in an eternal, resurrected reality - means that we can love with abandon, letting go of those who hold deep and essential places in our hearts so they may become all God created them to be.

Don't miss this important series on your freedom in faith!

GenderQuest

Come to GenderQuest NEXT TUESDAY!
October 8th  |  6:30pm

Gender can be understood (in part) as our culture's determinations of the function and identifiable characteristics of men and women - how we act, how we dress, what jobs we hold, what professions we specialize in, our roles in churches and schools...virtually every area of our lives are influenced by our gender.  Come join in the learning, support, and safe dialogue about how gender impacts our lives - whether that impact is positive or causes us difficulty.

GenderQuest invites you into a life lived within conscious gender...no longer defined by the world, but defining the world around us in all our diversity.

We meet the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 6:30pm at Wichita Falls MCC!  All are Welcome!
