The Bridge Church exists to see people's lives beautifully wrecked by the gospel.

3 THINGS THAT ARE HAPPENING WITH BRIDGE WG LEADERSHIP.

Clarity produces unity, so here's a short blog post laying out three important things that are happening with leadership of Bridge Worship Gatherings right now.

RELOCATION FUNDRAISING ANNOUNCEMENT:

This week we were humbled and ecstatic to announce where we stand in our fundraising for The Bridge's relocation to what will become our longterm "Gospel Launchpad". While we aren't there yet and we will only make it with "all hands on deck" from our church body, we praise Christ for this rich outpouring of mercy!

As of right now, about half of our church body has lovingly committed to this effort. To help us close this final $86,000 gap before we close on the property (between January and March 2015), visit www.beautifullywrecked.com for information about relocation and how to give.

BAPTISM SUNDAY :: NOVEMBER 16TH

We say "baptism is a visible symbol of an invisible reality." When someone crosses the line of faith in Christ, they're washed clean by him, and disciples of Christ make this publicly visible by being baptized. On November 16th, we'll be sharing in the unspeakable joy of baptism. If you're a newer Christian and want to be baptized, contact Craig McKown at craig.mckown@bridgesh.com!

INTRO TO THE BRIDGE :: NOVEMBER 16TH

The date of our next ITTB class will be November 16th, immediately following the 11:30 am worship gathering. If you're new and simply want to know more about The Bridge or if you're wanting to pursue membership, this is for you. We will cover the long-term vision of The Bridge, where the church is headed in the next few years, our theological orientation, etc. Lunch and childcare are on us. Sign up to attend by filling out this Short Form or by stopping by the connection center (in the lobby) on a Sunday morning.

CELEBRATING AN INCREDIBLE WEEK IN THE BRIDGE STUDENT MINISTRY

Just wanted to celebrate something amazing. This week, Bridgers and evangelists, Brock and Auny Gill shared their gifts and the gospel in Bridge Student Ministry and we crammed over TWO HUNDRED AND NINETY people into our worship space for our student ministry with ~20 people responding to the gospel, many of them from totally unchurched homes. PRAISE CHRIST!

MINISTRY EXPO :: THIS SUNDAY
At the Bridge, we know that it is essential for us to serve together to advance the Gospel. Because of that, we are having a Ministry Expo this Sunday to help each person get connected to the ministry area that best fits his/her unique gifts and talents.
AT THE RESOURCE TABLE :: "ACCORDING TO PLAN" AND "A BOOK YOU'LL ACTUALLY READ: ON THE OLD TESTAMENT"

Each series, our pastoral staff chooses a book or two that would be helpful for the people in our church body to accompany the sermon series. During "The Best of Moses" series, we have two different books at the Resource Table: "A Book You'll Actually Read On The Old Testament" for $10, and "According to Plan" for $15. We're happy to sell these books at a small loss to put good, Biblical resources in the hands of our church. Grab a copy of one of these books to go through with your spouse or a few members of your missional community during this series.

BRIDGE STUDENTS :: FALL RETREAT

October 31st-Nov. 2nd we have a Fall Retreat at Horton Haven Christian Camps for $70! If you want more information, want to sign up your teen, or sponsor a teen email Pastor Matt

BABY DEDICATIONS :: NOVEMBER 9TH

As a church "family", an implication of our adoption in Christ is a care for one another's families. If you have a child you'd like to be dedicated to A) God our Father, and B) our church family to walk alongside of you for the gospel in your child's life, CLICK HERE to register for child dedications in WG's on November 9th.
