July 2015 Edition
Dear Beloved,

I would like to welcome you to our July Newsletter.

I thank God for another opportunity to get in touch with you again. We have all hands on deck as we get ready for our Kingdom Harvest conference beginning on the 17 of September.

I hope you are all registered, and have invited all and sundry. Last year, we had some people tell us that they regretted not having invited their friends, who they knew would have benefitted from the teachings, impartation and healing. We are even more excited this year as Randy Clark is coming with an International Ministry team. This means, God gets to do even more through so many more hands, and that our ministry teams are empowered as they work alongside. More than ever we need prayer covering for all the Lord wants to do, so please join us in praying for the conference.

With this being holiday season, especially for families, do get lots of rest, and quality family time, but also seek the Lords Face. For those who don't have children, this is a great time to step back to reflect on what you have been doing and make sure it falls under godly wisdom.
In His Presence
DO YOU KNOW WHERE TO FIND WISDOM?

"Help! I need wisdom!" is a cry from the hearts of so many people over the years. "I can't do anything right, if I don't have wisdom". Where can wisdom be found? Presidents and peasants alike have sought this down the ages. Boardroom executives, office managers, doctors, homemakers, teachers and  students have desired this.

First we may need some clarification on what wisdom is. Wisdom has been defined as the quality of having experience, knowledge and good judgement. In other words the quality of being wise. To expand this more, it can be referred to as the trait of utilizing knowledge and experience with common sense and insight. This infers that if we find wisdom, we will make good and wise decisions that will have a positive impact on our lives.

Job pondered on the question of wisdom, desiring to receive a full understanding of the world and the order to which it runs. He wanted to know its origin, and something about its value. (Job 28:12-23). He found out that the origin is God alone, and explains that because God is able to look to the ends of the earth and see everything under the heavens (v24), He alone is thus qualified to have the full picture, and therefore make the best decisions. Therefore, GOD alone, is all wise.

A lot of times we try to make decisions with limited information. How can we who lack the full picture and the consequences of our actions trust ourself to make good decision. The worshipful fear of the Lord is wisdom Job 28:12. We need to ask God to teach us to fear him so we learn to understand His ways. Job also found, after comparison of all sorts of precious stones, that the value of wisdom is far beyond any wealth. We are sometimes told that "with age comes wisdom". From what we read in Job 32:8-9, it may sometimes be true, but it holds no guarantees. Only God is all wise. There is a mighty gulf between godly and worldly wisdom. We need to understand which we are walking in. Godly wisdom produces godly results, whilst there are no guarantees with worldly wisdom.

Romans 8:6 tells us that the mind of the flesh lacks sense and reason without the Holy Spirit. We need the Holy Spirit to help us walk in godly wisdom. We were all made for an intimate relationship with God, so trying to function without His Lordship at the centre, really distorts everything.

In the book of Proverbs, we read so much about wisdom, sometimes describing a more practical type of wisdom. But Proverbs 1:7 also reiterates that worshipful fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. There is a prayer (Proverbs 1:5) for us to increase in wisdom.

The apostle Paul, begins to tie it all up nicely for us as he declares that Jesus Christ is the wisdom of God, and in Him is hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge (1 Cor. 1:24, Col 2:3). So, like recommended in James 1:5 we simply ask God, who gives liberally. Also John 16:23-27 and John 15:16 encourages us to simply ask because God is waiting to answer. I suggest you make some time, take a sheet of paper and pen, go to the Lord, and simply ask your questions and listen for the answers. He may give you a Bible verse, or something. If you don't get it immediately, keep practicing asking and waiting patiently. You will also find that over time, godly wisdom will begin to operate through you at board meetings, offices, schools, businesses and all your places of influence. May the Lord bless you as you key into His godly wisdom that is readily available to you.
