Happy Spring! The time for renewal and rebirth.


 

The WLN has many exciting engagement and giving opportunities this season. It's hard to believe it's once again time for the Steering Committee to review grant applications and make funding recommendations to the United Way of Delaware County Board. As we enter into another year of raising awareness and funds for Delaware County programs and services we want to THANK YOU for your continued support as we change and transform lives right where we live!

Turning Point
It's not too late to make a gift to the initial capital campaign for Turning Point and our matching gift opportunity. To learn more and/or make a gift click here. Gifts must be received by March 31, 2015 to qualify for the match.  

WLN Annual Gift
To renew your WLN gift, click here. In order for the gifts to be accounted for this fiscal year, we ask that they are made by March 31, 2015. Thank you in advance for all who have renewed their gifts and/or who have joined this year!

Mother's Day Tribute

  1. Baby Shower (April 16) for the MOMS Program
  2. Supplies for Scholars (July 17) benefiting 1,500 Delaware County children with supplies needed for school
  3. Regatta 2015 (This end of summer party will replace Casino Night as our largest fundraiser)
  4. Holiday Collection for Foster Children (In December, we provide presents for all Delaware County foster children).
  5. Room To Grow (Annual WLN membership event in February 2016).

UPCOMING ENGAGEMENT OPPORTUNITIES

  

Baby Shower for the MOMS Program

April 16th at 6:30 p.m. | 140 N. Sandusky Street (Hayes Government Building) Delaware

We are looking for about six (6) people to volunteer at Julie Bergstedt's house (5530 Willow Bend Ct., Westerville) on 4/13 at 6:00 p.m. to sort and organize gifts. Sign up for shower here. 

 

Supplies for Scholars Collection Points

The planning has begun for one of the largest school supply drives in Delaware County. The 2015 Supplies for Scholars event provides school supplies and other items for Delaware County children in a fun-filled environment. Our goal is to serve 1,500 local kids this year! If your company or organization would like to serve as a collection point, please contact Chris Elliott.

SAVE THE DATE
 
New WLN Fundraising Event, Regatta 2015!

The Regatta will be held on August 29, 2015 from 6:30 p.m. -10:30 p.m. and will include toy yacht races, dancing, food and signature drinks, silent and live auctions and a variety of activities. Mark your calendars. More details coming soon!
