A "WARM" WOGA...

A few weeks ago, Pat McKamey and myself represented WOGA at the Women's Golf Alliance Annual "WARM" Conference in Phoenix. The annual conference is an event where representatives from State and Regional Women's Golf Associations across the country come together, share ideas, share best practices and enjoy the common bond to make our associations the best they can be while making a difference in the lives of Women and Junior Girl Golfers. "WARM" stands for Women's Associaiton Roundtable Meeting and is a service of the Women's Golf Alliance. Prior to the conference, the Women's Golf Alliance Board of Directors spent two days developing a strategic plan that will be a great help to all Women's State and Regional Golf Associations. This year and for the first time, the Alliance received a PJ Boatright intern from the USGA that will also help The Alliance achieve her goals. I never fail to be inspired and educated every year I attend the conference, and I always look forward to returning to Oklahoma with new ideas and information that will benefit our association.

We also hope you will sign up and support the 1st WOGA Mixed Couples Tourney at Cherokee Hills Golf Course in Catoosa April 26-27. Tournament registration is underway, so grab your mixed partner, make your foursome and let the fun begin. You can enter the tourney by going to the WOGA website WOGA.us. For assistance please call Vicki at 918-760-4255.

The sun is shining, spring is here and it won't be long before we have plush green fairways, singing birds and baby bunnies hoping around our beautiful Oklahoma courses.

Thank you so much for supporting Women's and Girls Golf in Oklahoma and continuing our very special legacy.

My Very Best,
