The Viva Las Vegas Rockabilly Weekend , now in its 21st year, is a four-day music festival that takes place Thursday, April 19- Sunday April 22nd. VLV is the longest running music festival in Las Vegas. VLV has grown to be the largest event of its type in the world , featuring bands and fans from all over the globe who come to experience Rockabilly & Original 50s Music , a Classic Car Show , Burlesque Competition, Vintage Fashion Show, Dance Lessons and Competition , Tiki Pool Parties, swimsuit contests , Burlesque Bingo, Pin-Up Beauty Academy, Pin-Up Contest, over 120 Vendors , a Bowling event , Tattoo Lounge and more. VLV attracts the most eye-catching, stylish, head-turning people you will ever see in one place.

This year’s featured acts include: The Stray Cats , who are reuniting to perform for the first time in over a decade , and Rock N Roll Hall of Famers , “The Killer” Jerry Lee Lewis and Duane Eddy , who are all performing at the Car Show on Saturday April 21st . The Viva Las Vegas Car Show features 800 –1,000 vintage cars , all pre-1964, as well as the Annual VLV Pin-up Contest . One day tickets are available for this show.

The Stars of Sun Rockabilly and The Stars of Rock n Roll shows are two of the most popular attractions for the fans, featuring legendary musical acts from the 50s, all in one place. No other festival puts together shows like this! Bigger and Better this year: Due to high demand, a few events are moving to the Arena at The Orleans: The Stars of Sun Rockabilly and The VLV Burlesque Showcase will be able to accommodate more fans than ever before!

Another notable act this year is Germany’s Hot Boogie Chillun , who are reuniting after a 10 year break. In that time, Sasha Vollmer has become a household name as a Judge on The Voice in Germany.

VLV is currently pending approval for a Guinness Book World Record for "Largest Jive Dance" in traditional dance and dress! Last year during our 20 year reunion, there were 520 people dancing, beating the previous record of 250.

VLV has sold out in advance for the 4 day festival for over 10 years in a row! Events are held in 6 different music venues in The Orleans Hotel and Casino (4500 West Tropicana Avenue). VLV has grown from the first year’s 1,200 people in attendance, to selling out in advance over 10 years in a row, with over 9,000 attending the four-day festival and up to 20,000 for the Saturday Car Show . Since the event has sold out in advance annually , attendees are encouraged to purchase tickets early.
