Principal's Coffee and Presentation, Tuesday September 26
This year, WSMS will present Youth Awareness of Mental Health (YAM) to all WSMS students. Our 8th graders will experience YAM this fall and our 7th graders will experience the program in the spring. YAM, offered by UT Southwestern, is a 5-session program promoting increased knowledge and discussion about mental health in adolescents. YAM will be presented to our students through their history classes. Please

Dr. Jennifer Hughes, a licensed clinical psychologist and associate professor at UT Southwestern, will join Mr. Messer for his Principal's Coffee on September 26th from 9:00-10:00 a.m. If you have questions about YAM, please contact your student's counselor,

Leopard Friday BBQ Tickets on Sale
Please join us for the
Leopard Friday BBQ dinner catered by Sonny Bryan has and served in the Lovejoy High School cafeteria on September 22 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. If you would like to purchase tickets, you can do that through our online payment
center by going here. Tickets are $12.00 each with special pricing of $6.00 for a child plate for ages 4-12. Tickets purchased online will be held at dinner check-in. If you wish to pay with cash or check, please stop by the LHS school store.
The deadline to order is this Thursday, Sept 21 at 10:00 a.m. A small number of tickets will be sold at the door.
