Mural Dedication
September 20 - 5pm
6906 Plainfield Road
Please join Women Writing for (a) Change and the community of Silverton for the dedication of the Silverton ArtWorks Mural,
We Are All In This Story Together. WWf(a)C is honored for our building to be the site of this mural, which is part of Silverton's "Art in Public Places" program. We are immensely grateful for the opportunity to partner with the City of Silverton and ArtWorks on this project, and with the wonderful artist, Erin Baker, who designed this beautiful mural. Gratitude also to Sally Atkins for permission to use a line of her poem,
Tell Me, She Said.
Come celebrate with us!

WWf(a)C is excited to announce this special ten-part series, in partnership with other local non-profit and community organizations and with key support provided by ArtsWave. Each program in the series combines reflective writing with a viewing experience that highlights various cultural traditions.
Most programs will be held at a partner gallery or theater and consist of attending and viewing an exhibit, performance, play, collection, film, or other cultural representation. The experiences and suggested writing prompts are designed to be thought-provoking for written exploration. Writing offers an opportunity to deepen the experience, as does the discussion that follows the writing time.
The goal of this series is to explore and consider a variety of cross cultural expressions, and to foster deeper understanding and awareness of different racial, ethnic and cultural traditions.
Confirmed series partners are Taft Museum (See
Oct. 6 program listing, below), Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park; Wyoming Inclusion Neighborhood Diversity Support; Cincinnati Art Museum, and Cincinnati Shakespeare Company.
Additional partnerships and dates to be announced, pending final confirmation.
