WXPR Public Radio will move this spring into the pictured building on Stevens Street in Rhinelander.
Good afternoon everyone - These are exciting times for WXPR! For nearly two years we've been working on the Hear the Future Campaign. The campaign will result in four new production studios in a new location, plus funding a new position, Community Features Editor, to create new stories on the air and on the web. As you can see, construction is underway at our new building at 28 North Stevens Street in downtown Rhinelander. You can track the progress by viewing the New Building Slideshow online. We need to raise an additional $44,000 to complete all of the goals of the campaign. Once the project is fully realized, WXPR will be able to broadcast more live music events from the studio and bring you new stories from all around the Northwoods.
