Carver County Fair
Wednesday, August 8-Sunday, August 12

It's Fair Time! Whether it is visiting the animal barns, the midway, the grandstand, the 4H displays, the live music or "fair food", the Carver County Fair does not disappoint. There is non-stop fun for 5 days! 

Don't forget to visit "Art in Motion: Street Art" on Friday, August 10 from 10:00AM-4:00PM FREE! Grab some chalk and help create an inspired walkway alongside artists and fair-goers! All ages & abilities welcome. Pick up chalk supplies at the HERO tent adjacent to the Entertainment Center. Sponsored by the HERO Coalition.

Stop by the Chamber of Commerce booth in the Chamber of Commerce building! Write out a postcard inviting someone to "Visit Waconia!" and we will mail it for you! For more info on the Fair, click here.

Lunch at the Fair!
As in previous years, you and your employees are invited to come to the fair for lunch on Wednesday & Thursday (August 8-9). Gate admission to the Fair during the lunch hour (11:00AM-1:00PM) is complimentary. Please enter through Gate #3 (the South Gate closest to Ridgeview Medical Center) of the fairgrounds and be prepared to show your company ID Badge, name tag or a business card. The Waconia Lakers and Waconia Baseball Association are co-hosting the Crow River Valley Region 7C men's amateur baseball tournament the first & second weeks of August. Over 500 attendees are expected to visit Lions Field and Waconia each night. Our very own Waconia Lakers will play at noon on Saturday, August 4. Come on out and enjoy some great baseball!
Note: For this event, parking is in the Waconia Ice Arena lot and entry is at North Gate (some handicap parking is available in the west lot by the field)
Cost: $5 adult, $1 12-18 years, under 12 are free
