Oregon vs. California Pinot Noir - Wine Tasting
Of all the varietals, Pinot Noir is perhaps the most sensitive to small changes in growing conditions - climate, soil, sun exposure, etc. To illustrate this, we will pour four Pinots, two from California and two from Oregon. The cooler climate makes Oregon Pinots lighter in color, and more delicate in structure with an earthy, more Burgundian style. Since California Pinots ripen easily thanks to California's constant sunshine, they tend to be darker in color and have riper, darker fruit flavors. Come in and see which style of Pinot Noir you prefer.
Precis & Mezcal Demo - Friday, June 9th
Stop by any time between 5:00pm and 8:00pm

Wines of Santa Lucia Highlands AVA - Wine Tasting
If you're a fan of chardonnay, pinot noir or syrah, you need to know about one of California's most exciting wine regions, the Santa Lucia Highlands. Part of the Monterey County AVA the vineyards of the Highlands are planted on the terraces of the Santa Lucia mountain range, overlooking the Salinas River Valley. Here, fogs and breezes off nearby Monterey Bay funnel southeast, between the Santa Lucia and Gabilan ranges, creating a cool climate.
Summer Ros és - Wine Tasting
It's that time of year...Rosé season has arrived. These flavorful wines are perfect for the warmer weather of late spring and early summer. They pair well with lighter dishes such as seafood, salads, and roasted chicken, but they are wonderful by themselves, at the pool or in the backyard!
