I WOKE UP this morning, (PRAISE THE LORD FOR AWAKENING AGAIN!), strangely NOT feeling good.

I quickly understood that today is Sunday and I DO have an enemy that desires my constant defeat- satan himself!!!

It still amuses and amazes me that satan never grows weary in his effort to stop, hinder, deter and utterly defeat the Work and Works of God and any that dare choose to follow and worship the LIVING GOD-THE LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST!!!

If YOU are one of the soldiers in Jesus' army today, rejoice today that satan is and will be ABSOLUTELY and UTTERLY defeated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I AWAKENED to a "MEMORY" sermon posted by and on Facebook and was tempted to just use that as today's sermon.

Or, as my mama so graciously put it:

" IF YOU CAN'T STAND THE HEAT, GET OUT OF THE KITCHEN!!!!"

AMEN AND AMEN!!!

I often think of a quote from my wonderful friend and mentor, the late Rev. David Wilkerson.

He said, "I AM 73 YEARS OLD AND HAVE NOTHING ELSE TO PROVE!!"

He went to his reward KNOWING, as the Apostle Paul before him:

As bad and as hard as most of us are and have been fighting this battle, THANK GOD:

4 Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin.

As WE fight this battle today and every day afterwards, let us:

" LOOK UNTO JESUS, THE AUTHOR AND FINISHER OF OUR FAITH!!!"

2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Please note Jesus declaration "the FINISHER of our faith!"

JESUS NEVER FAILS!!!!

6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

Today, "PAY NO ATTENTION TO THAT mAN BEHIND THE CURTAIN!!"

A "critic" IS and does what a critic is good for-absolutely nothing!!!

Like water off a ducks back, shake off ALL negativity in YOUR LIFE and say with Nehemiah:

3 And I sent messengers unto them, saying, I am doing a great work, so that I cannot come down: why should the work cease, whilst I leave it, and come down to you?

YOU do not have to respond to every critique and provide an answer to every post on FB!!!

Simply BLOCK them or ignore them!
