January 03, 2017

Dear Wamogo Families and Friends,

It is my hope that you all experienced a happy holiday season and that the winter break was restful and rejuvenating.  As we enter back into the swing of day to day life, I would like to remind parents and students that the end of the marking period is quickly approaching on January 26, 2017. Please monitor your child's progress on PowerSchool and should you have any questions or concerns, please contact your child's teacher and/or school counselor.

Don't forget to check out the new WRHS Blog! It has been a successful means of communicating student success, achievements, and events. The blog can be found on the Wamogo homepage under the "What's New" section. To view the blog, please click here.

I look forward to seeing you at Parent Coffee Hour tomorrow at 7:30 a.m., in the Library Media Center.

Happy New Year to all!

Respectfully,
Jaime Rivera
Principal

Attendance

To report a student absence, please call the main office at 860-567-7410 prior to 8:30 a.m.

If your child is absent from any class without validation, the absence will be considered a cut from class and will be coded as such.

Automated calls regarding student attendance occur daily at 5:00 p.m. If your child is coded as CUT or T (Tardy), parent/guardians will receive an automated call.  If you have more than one student enrolled at Wamogo, and more than one of your children were coded as CUT or T (Tardy), you will receive a call for each child.

Please note that it is important for Wamogo to keep an accurate record of absences due to state laws and the potential for loss of credit.  If you have any questions regarding Wamogo's attendance policy, please refer to the student handbook  by clicking here. Additionally, attendance concerns can be discussed with your child's teacher or guidance counselor.
