You Wanna Fight? 6/3/15

John 18:36 (KJV)
36  Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.    

Oftentimes, when I am lured into a fight, I think of these Sacred Words of OUR Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!!!

This world, this "kingdom" is not worth fighting for!!!

Daily, our senses are assaulted by the visual and printed images of people "protesting this and fighting that."

It seems there is always a "cause" people are MORE than willing to fight for or against and even give their very lives and means to obtain "victory???"

A "victory" that is only temporal.

WE long for and seek after the approval and applause of mere man!

How did Jesus say it????

Luke 6:26 (KJV)
26  Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets.    

OUR Lord and Savior NEVER "COMMITED HIMSELF UNTO THEM (men), BECAUSE He KNEW all men!!!!!!"

John 2:24 (KJV)
24  But Jesus did not commit himself unto them, because he knew all men,

As I stood on a Church stage several years ago, I saw printed in large letters on the back wall of the Church these words:

"AUDIENCE OF ONE!"

That sign was meant to be read and heeded by those privileged to speak, sing, or perform to an audience of fellow human beings.

The ONLY fight WORTH fighting is the "GOOD FIGHT OF FAITH!"

1 Timothy 6:12 (KJV)
12  Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.

WE are at war with the devil, the darkness of THIS world and the evil therein.

OUR "KINGDOM" is not of this world!!!

And WE need not the approval of others in this PERSONAL battle.

Romans 14:4 (KJV)
4  Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.    

Romans 14:10 (KJV)
10  But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.

Sadly, more and more THIS world is "CALLING EVIL GOOD, and GOOD EVIL!"

Isaiah 5:20 (KJV)
20  Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

Jesus, HIMSELF, was only able to conquer and defeat this world because there was "NOTHING" of this world IN HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

John 14:30 (KJV)
30  Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.

Down south, we would say it like this:

The devil cannot get a TOEHOLD on me because there is NOTHING of this world in me.

Without apology, I again PREACH it all comes down to PRAYER:

1 Timothy 2:1-2 (KJV)
1  I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;   

2  For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.

In conclusion, Pilate asked the one enduring question, "WHAT IS TRUTH?"

John 18:38 (KJV)
38  Pilate saith unto him, What is truth? And when he had said this, he went out again unto the Jews, and saith unto them, I find in him no fault at all.

OUR Bible accurately answers "THY WORD IS TRUTH!"

John 17:17 (KJV)
17  Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

It is THAT TRUTH that makes US free:

32  And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

TOGETHER, with YOU, I too LONG for the day WHEN, not IF,   

"THE KINGDOMS OF THIS WORLD ARE BECOME THE KINGDOMS OF OUR   

LORD, AND OF HIS CHRIST; AND HE SHALL REIGN FOR EVER AND   

EVER!!!!!!"

Revelation 11:15 (KJV)
15  And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.
