
While the ultimate impact cannot be measured at this time, it was a great day for religious freedom and the protection of innocent life.
The U.S. Supreme Court in the hotly contested Hobby Lobby case saidat least some corporations cannot be forced to go against their sincerely held beliefs to pay for employee health insurance that ends the life of an innocent preborn child.
"The sanctity of human life is grounded in the undeniable truth that we're created in the image of God," said GRTL President Dan Becker. "And I'm thankful that we're still free to stand up for our beliefs. "Becker added: "It would have been a dark day if the court had decided that corporate owners can't practice what they believe."
And despite howls from pro-aborts and the left, the 5-4 decision will have virtually no impact on women's access to birth control.
It doesn't deny women access to abortion services, or prevent them from obtaining birth control products.
In fact, the ruling only affects 4 of the 20 so-called birth control methods that employers are required to provide their female employees under Obamacare (The Affordable Care Act).
