Warmblood Fragile Foal Syndrome Resources
The subject of Warmblood Fragile Foal Syndrome is a hot topic among breeders today, not surprisingly. Resources and information about WFFS are not all together in one place, which makes it hard to get all the information you need to make informed decisions about how it might affect your breeding program. The WBG - WFFS Awareness Group on Facebook is a closed group, but they have assembled a list of resources and shared it with us. I will continue to update this list as more resources become available.

In Memoriam Pablito

Edgar Schutte, of Eurequine.com, has announced the passing of Pablito, his Hanoverian stallion born in 1994. The sire of many successful offspring, especially in eventing, but also in both dressage and jumpers, Pablito died this year at the age of 24. Some frozen semen is still available.

Foundation Fridays
Recent Foundation Sires Featured on WarmbloodStallionsNA.com
We started a new feature on WarmbloodStallionsNA.com in 2018: Foundation Fridays! Each Friday we will be featuring a foundation sire - one who has been influential in the development of warmblood breeds. Since our last email newsletter, we have added four new stallions. With most of these articles, we'll be pulling from the incredible archive of The Horse Magazine , published by Chris Hector of Australia. Thank you, Chris, for permission to draw on your expertise!

In each of these articles, we introduce a Foundation Sire, and we also include links to stallions with each of these bloodlines who are on WarmbloodStallionsNA.com .

More Success for Diamo Blue's Relatives

Sometimes your family makes you proud, and if the young stallion Diamo Blue could read show results right now, he might be justified in taking pride in recent wins by his half-brother and uncles. Diamo Blue is a young stallion owned by W. Charlot Farms, sired by the impressive Diarado (who is by Diamant de Semilly), and out of a mare by Chacco Blue. His relatives dominated the last two stops of the prestigious Global Champions Tour.

New Privacy Policy
You may have received several emails recently from websites you visit, announcing new Privacy Policies. Some of you may be aware that the European Union has announced new requirements regarding Privacy disclosures, applicable across the globe for anyone who has personal information about citizens of any EU country.

Warmblood Stallions of North America has comparatively few registered users from the EU, but we believe in the principles behind these new regulations anyway: being clear to users about how their personal information is being collected and used. So we've taken this opportunity to rewrite our Privacy Policy as well.

It turns out that being clear about everything we do is complicated! The new Privacy Policy represents a lot of time and thought, and - like most I've seen - it's long. If you want the short version, I've added a synopsis at the top!
