Dear ,

We're off to great start in 2012 at Washburn Law, thanks to the continuing support of our alumni and friends.

We've planned important upcoming CLEs, Center events, and student Lunch & Learns with many of you volunteering as speakers and experts in the various fields of law you represent. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with our students and attendees. Our alumni involvement is one of the reasons Washburn Law is known for graduating students who are prepared to practice law from day one.

I am pleased that Washburn Law continues to be recognized nationally for its outstanding legal education and excellent programs.

I look forward to seeing many of you in the New Year.

Best regards,

Washburn Law was also among the top 20 law schools in the country for the percent of graduates employed as prosecutors and public defenders.

A January 23, 2012, editorial in the Topeka Capital-Journal touts this recognition as bringing "national attention to Washburn University and Topeka and shouldn't go unmentioned."
