According to the Maryland Department of Legislative Services, the Washington County General Fund has one of the lowest costs per capita for services provided of all 23 counties and Baltimore City. About the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development
The Maryland Department of Housing has administered approximately $33 million in Community Development Block Grant assistance in 43 counties and municipalities in Maryland during Governor Hogan’s administration.
“The program is an important and flexible tool that can help our counties and municipalities reach their specific revitalization goals,” said Governor Hogan. “These worthy projects will address critical needs and change Maryland’s communities for the better.”
