WOW Truck Wows Food TV
Grab a bowl of popcorn, put your feet up--or at the very least, set the DVR--and see if you can find Carolyn Jung, aka Food Gal, in this week's episode of "Eat Street."
For the uninitiated, "Eat Street " is the Cooking Channel's "celebration of North America's tastiest most irresistible street food." Last year, the show traveled to San Jose to test Filipino food from the WOW Truck and its co-owner Tim Luym.
The episode featuring Food Gal and the WOW Truck is scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 19 at 7 p.m. and 11 p.m. and Saturday, Jan. 21 at 1:30 p.m. All times are Pacific.

'Dine About Town San Francisco' Time
The 11th annual "Dine About Town San Francisco" restaurant promotion returns Jan. 15-31, in which more than 100 restaurants will be offering up either/and two-course lunch menus for $17.95 and three-course dinners for $34.95.
Among the participating restaurants will be 1300 on Fillmore, Campton Place Restaurant, Foreign Cinema, Marlowe, and Town Hall. For a complete list, click here. Those who dine at three or more "Dine About Town" restaurants and pay with an American Express card will earn a $15 statement credit. Card members must register their cards to participate.
