Dear Friend,

I write to you as Ghassan concludes his most challenging day walking the Camino de Santiago – about 20 miles in nine hours through difficult terrain. He began the Camino one month ago and has walked over 350 miles. Ghassan walks as a part of The Way to Bethlehem campaign to raise awareness of Bethlehem University and its incredible mission to bring education to the people of the Holy Land while serving as an oasis of peace and a place for interfaith encounter.

Ghassan tells the story of Bethlehem University to all he meets along the Camino. In addition, he offers his prayerful thoughts for Bethlehem University and all its supporters as he continues his journey. Here Ghassan checks in with you, offering insight into his adventures so far:
Next week, over 40 supporters from all over the world will gather to join Ghassan and walk the final 100 kilometers into Santiago de Compostela. They are people of different faiths and walks of life, all united in their support of Bethlehem University. They walk to inspire a global awareness of the University’s unique roles as both a place of education and a beacon of hope for the local community.

I ask that you join The Way to Bethlehem by following Ghassan's journey on Facebook , Twitter , and Instagram . You can also support The Way to Bethlehem campaign by making a tax-deductible donation, 100% of which will go directly to Bethlehem University. Donations up to $100,000 are currently being matched by a generous anonymous donor. Click the button below to learn more.
