USEF Network Coverage of the 2014 USHJA Pre-Green Incentive and International Hunter Derby Championships

The USEF Network will once again be providing live streaming coverage for the Pre-Green Incentive and the International Hunter Derby Championships. This year all phases of the Championships will be streamed live with seasoned event commentators, Danny Robertshaw and Tom Brennan providing insights to viewers during the Championship Rounds.

| Introducing Charlie, the Championship Week Mascot! |
 New to the 2014 Pre-Green Incentive and International Hunter Derby Championships is USHJA's mascot, Charlie the fox. Follow Charlie on social media as he makes appearances throughout the week!
Charlie got his name from the very origin of the hunter discipline, foxhunting. In foxhunting terms, the fox is also sometimes known as Charlie.

Deadline to Apply for Trainer Certification Program is September 15

The Trainer Certification Program (TCP) Committee reviews TCP applications three times annually. Completed applications and required documents must be received by USHJA by the following deadlines to be considered: 
January 15 for review in February
May 15 for review in June
September 15 for review in October
Participation in the TCP, while voluntary, is encouraged for the ongoing professional support it provides. Becoming a Certified Trainer confirms a commitment to continuing one's professional development, which leads to an ever-increasing group of well-rounded and knowledgeable horsemen.

2014 Mrs. A.C. Randolph Owners Legacy Award Nominations are Now Open
|

The Mrs. A.C. Randolph Owners Legacy Award, established by the USHJA Owners Task Force in 2011, acknowledges a past or current owner who is, or has been, a true "patron" of the hunter/jumper industry. This award honors an owner who has created a legacy of giving back to the hunter/jumper sport through continued dedication and support. The perpetual trophy, donated by EMO Agency, Inc., will be presented and its recipient celebrated on Tuesday, December 9, during the Evening of Equestrians dinner being held in conjunction with USHJA's Annual Meeting in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Previous award recipients include Helen Lenahan, Harry Gill, and Wilhelmine Stewart Kirby Waller.
