2015 Habitat Video
Habitat homeowners, community partners, Wednesday Warriors, and longtime supporters share their insights on how Habitat is revitalizing neighborhoods and changing lives in Cabarrus County (NC). This year's theme of "Dedication" is embodied in everyone that has made this year a success.

Presented by the Hospitality Community

Our Annual Breakfast Was a HUGE Success
The board and staff of Habitat for Humanity of Cabarrus County would like to thank everyone who attended. Nearly 300 community members attended our signature event.

If you were there, you received a Jenga block. It represents what your "dedication" to Habitat has brought to the community. You are the building blocks and these blocks come together to build the foundation of Habitat.

Annual Report

Our Annual Report is a great snapshot of highlights from the past year. It also includes some statistics from improvements we have made over the past 5 years.

Build News
Habitat Cabarrus has several builds either currently under construction or in the planning stages.

Building on Faith unites the faith-based community for a build. There is still time (and need) for help on this home. We invite those churches who have a long tradition of Habitat support, those who had been engaged but may have lessened involvement, and those who are new to Habitat Cabarrus involvement to take part in this build. The home is located on Broad Street in the Logan Community.

Builders Blitz creates a partnership between Habitat and the building community to build a new house in Cabarrus County.  It has been three years since our last Home Builders Blitz house. In Cabarrus County, our goal is to complete the build in 8 weeks, a little more than half of what it would normally take to complete a house. This year, the project extends regionally as Builders Blitz projects are happening in 6 of the surrounding Habitat affiliates.

Women Build 25th Anniversary. 2016 marks the 25th Anniversary of the first Women Build. To celebrate this milestone, Habitat Cabarrus will bring together women from all walks of life together - to build a new house in Cabarrus County. Our last Women Build home was completed in 2011 so it's time to break out those hard hats again.
