Actor and UNEP Goodwill Ambassador Ian Somerhalder narrates our inspiring new documentary, Climate Heroes: Stories of Change. It takes the viewer on a trip around the world to see people taking action on climate change. Watch the trailer!

The documentary weaves together nine stories, showing that action on climate change is creating jobs, improving lives and turning dreams of a better future into reality. The documentary will be released during Climate Week NYC in September 2014.

 
Hundreds of people, businesses, governments and institutions submitted their innovative climate solutions to Momentum for Change in the hopes of being named a 2014 Lighthouse Activity. Lighthouse Activities are practical, scalable and replicable examples of action on climate change that are helping put the world on a low-carbon, high resilience path.

Momentum for Change's 25-member Advisory Panel will choose from a pool of 107 eligible applications from more than 70 countries. Winning activities will be announced in November, and celebrated at a series of special events at the year-end UN Climate Change Conference in Lima, Peru.
