I don't like weighing myself. I'd rather go with how I am feeling than identify with a number.
But when the bathing suit went on and the jello theme song came to mind, I decided to make a visit to the scale.
I waited until morning and whilst naked (because that's the only way I weigh myself), my suspicions were correct. I put on some pounds. @#!s! (slight freak out)
Could it be added muscle weight? hmm... not too likely.
Could it be what happens when you turn 40? hmm... maaaybe.
Could it be all those comforting treats in the summer heat? (and by the way, it's been HOT for a LONG time) hmm... yes, this is the most likely culprit.
Then I remembered.
I have helped people lose major pounds!! Get back into your Groove Girl!
So... I decided to reclaim what I know best and made a list that I thought you may like - especially if you have some extra jello hanging around.
Get Back into Your Groove! Feel Great. Lose Weight.
1. Drink one meal or snack everyday. I LOVE my Vitamix. It's a great way to pack mega nutrients in one easy glass. The Dr. Oz Green Shake is a good one. Be sure to add ice. :)

2. Finish eating at around 7 p.m. I know this is tricky with summer schedules, but a night time fast of 10 or more hours is beneficial for most people with normal blood sugar levels. Your body will rest better when it's not busy trying to digest a meal.
3. Love Your Wiggle and Jiggle. Embrace who you are and that includes your body. Instead of beating yourself up over your shape change, thank your body for everything it does for you and "make some fun!"
