Indie Arts Fest
2010!
For
visitors looking for activities earlier in the day, the eclectic
Indie Arts Festival is free from noon to midnight in the Bank of America City Center and
Burnside Park, located on the corner of Exchange and Washington
Streets. The festival incorporates dance, DJing, music and spoken
word.
Wooly Fair
More
local art will also be showcased during Wooly Fair from 1 p.m. to 1
a.m. at 64 Eagle Street, on the West
Side of Providence. This year's art carnival features a "Back to
Nature" theme and is centered around a pyramid-shaped gardening
piece known as the "The Flower Tower." Tickets are $15 at the door
and $12 if purchased online on the Wooly Fair website.

The lighting will
feature new merchandise including t-shirts,
sweatshirts, tote bags, posters and more in honor of our 15th
anniversary season! Look for WaterFire's new merchandise and
information tent along the river at Steeple and Washington Streets
at all full lightings.

event will go on during occasional showers or passing
thunderstorms. Up-to-the-minute weather reports and event status
updates are available on the WaterFire website

Take
a River Walk!
Discover
the winding history and continued importance of Providence's
rivers! Urban outdoor sculpture and beautiful civic and commercial
buildings of varied architectural styles provide the setting for
stories of Providence's fabled past and dynamic present. This walk
shares the history of Rhode Island's capital city and the history
of WaterFire. Tickets are $10 per person.
Reservations requested: Dalila Goulart at 401.331.8575x45 or programs@rihs.org. Tours last an hour and
depart at 5:30 p.m. from the John Brown House Museum on 52 Power Street in Providence
on all full fire lightings. Half of all ticket proceeds from the
river walk benefit WaterFire Providence.
