Save the Date: June 3 - Community Forum on Teen Drug Use
This fall, the Township and School District partnered together for the first time to host the Wayne Community Forum on Teen Drug Use. Hundreds of concerned members of the community attended the event and had the opportunity to hear directly from a panel of professionals that inclulded the Mayor, Superintendent, Wayne Police Department, Passaic County Prosecutors Office, Chilton Hospital, Drug Court, and School administrators. Each speaker shared the hard truths about the growing problem among teens in and around our community in an attempt to raise awareness.
In continuation of our efforts, we will be hosting another Community Forum on Teen Drug use on Tuesday, June 3, at 7:00 PM in the Wayne Valley High School auditorium. Once again, attendees will have the opportunity to hear from a variety of speakers to further understand the warning signs to look out for and identify the resources available to help. The ultimate goal of coming together as a community around this problem is to help everyone answer the questions: Why should I care? What are the signs? What can I do?

Convenient Bagged Lunch
This is a handy lunch option for any student going on a Class Trip, Field Day, School Barbecue or any other Special Day in school. The lunch has a bagel or sandwich option that comes with fresh fruit, vegetable and beverage choice. These are the components of a complete meal as part of the National School Lunch Program.
This meal can be paid for with cash, check or by using the foodservice account number (one is made for each student). Any free or reduced price eligible student can order this meal by using their foodservice account number.
Print the Cold Bagged Lunch Order form and give the form to your child's school's kitchen prior to the day needed. Bagged Lunches are available for pick up each morning in each school's kitchen.
