Young Adults Wine & Canvas / Poker Night
Sunday, October 25 at 5:00 PM
Young Adults (Ages 21-45) are invited for a fun night out! For those who are feeling artistic, come explore your creative side. For those who want to try their hand at the poker table, come play a hand or three.  Light Kosher dinner fare will be served.

A minimum $25 donation is required, (please contact Rowan if you are unable to donate, and we will make sure you can still participate.) All proceeds go to the Jewish Family Services Kosher Food Pantry. Childcare services will be available for $5 a child.

Welcome Author Diana Bletter
Friday, October 30 & Saturday October 31
Author, Diana Bletter will be speaking at Temple B'nai Shalom in Benton Harbor on  Friday, October 30  at a dinner starting at 6:30 pm which will be followed by evening services.

Ms. Bletter will also be meeting with the members of Sinai Synagogue book club on Saturday, October 31 prior to morning service and will then join in the services to give D'var Torah. Diana Bletter's novel Remarkable Kindness tells the story of four American women who are members of a burial circle in a small beach village in northern Israel. Their stories intertwine as they participate in this ancient, powerful ritual for the dead.

Diana Bletter's work has appeared in a variety of publications, including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and Commentary .  Orignially from New York, she now lives in Israel where she is a member of a burial circle.
