A MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT
The mission of the Greater Macon Chamber of Commerce is to advance regional success and is focused on economic growth. On May 22, voters in the Middle Georgia region will have the opportunity to vote YES to a brighter future, with more jobs and safer roads by approving a one-cent regional transportation special purpose local option sales tax (TSPLOST.)

Improving transportation in our city, county, region and state will create jobs immediately through construction projects and long term by attracting new industry and growing existing businesses.
This referendum will create jobs, stimulate economic development and give way to stronger economic centers by connecting cities and counties to the statewide transportation network. Every penny that is raised locally will be spent locally on projects that include the Seventh Street Truck
By-pass Route and the Sardis Church Road Extension to I-16.

The Chamber is in full support of the referendum and we ask you to join us by voting YES on May 22 to the one-cent TSPLOST.
