The CROSS is the best known symbol of the Christian faith. However, from the first time Jesus mentioned a CROSS was coming, it disturbed His disciples and confused the crowds. CROSSwalk, our spring preaching series, will illuminate the meaning of the CROSS and help us rise to Christ's challenge to carry our own CROSS daily, following Him.

April 14 we have a Noon GOOD FRIDAY service to honor the time Jesus was on the Cross. EASTER SUNDAY we will celebrate with two services at  8 & 10:30 am.

Thankful. Hopeful.

Let's Do Lunch!
Sun., April 2, after 10:30 am service

As a church family, we are up to something GOOD! In the first 3 months, we have celebrated 26 decisions for Christ! This Sunday, plan to stay for all-church lunch. (It's Italian!) You'll be amazed at the beautiful progress on our Stage One Project in the month since we last met there, celebrated taking out old carpet and tearing out walls. Thank you to so many who gave PROVISION for this vision and invested hours of sweat-equity.

We will fellowship, meet new staff, and highlight our Bible Study teachers (class lists will be available,  so you can find a Bible Group of your own).

Please bring a pasta dish, salad or bread sticks, or dessert to share with your church family.

You're also invited back to a Cardinals Baseball Home Opening Game  Party in Stage One on Sunday at 7:30 pm!  See you there!

Love Worth Fighting For Marriage Event

Saturday, May 6, 6pm - 9:30pm, Main Worship Center

The Bible repeatedly uses "father," "husband," "bride" and "child" analogies to demonstrate God's relationship with the church and his followers. There is no better example of the unconditional love God has for us than what we are instructed to have for our spouse and children. Building upon these themes, Love Worth Fighting For is a marriage event, featuring teaching by Kirk Cameron and music by Warren Barfield, designed to strengthen and encourage marriage.

These discounted tickets are available for members, visitors and friends of First Christian and can be picked up at Connecting Point or the church office.

Ticket Options:

- VIP Ticket: Early Entry (4pm doors open), seating in VIP section, access to the VIP-only autograph session, and a pre-event Q & A session with Kirk from 4:15pm-4:45pm [$47 per ticket]

- General Admission Ticket: Doors open at 5pm [$18 per ticket]
